Jim’s Gardening guy that cleaned up number 25 offered me a job as his assistant because he saw the place befor...

Re: 30 Nov - 01 Dec 2024 - Madame Tussauds Waxworks

We have been to many Madame Tussaud’s museums around the world but not in New York. You are correct with your appraisal that some of the figures are somewhat dubious. I do not think that the model of QE II was convincing. Apart from that, it would have been a brilliant experience for Lizzie to meet ...

What an adventure. Pity you didn’t get to rub the Stock Exchange Bull. Maybe your run of unfortunate mistakes and bad luck would have ended. Great story to read.

OMG, do we need to get a gofundme page going ?

Bravo Bro. Nice roundup of your adventure. It was well worth the read and a good excuse to take a break from the chores I have. You are still able to laugh at you minor setbacks and/or mistakes and that will always make for a good discussion around the campfire in future years.

Hamilton

If you are driving from Toronto to Niagara Falls, you NEED to drop in to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton. You will get to meet Vera. I spent some time inside her and listening to her roar. Magnificent memories of that Lancaster flight. Did I mention that I have flown in the Lancast...
